HAVE A TWEET DAY...BIG O OWL

Gosh I am so behind in uploading my BBTB challenge for this past Sunday....actually I have been busy decorating my house for Christmas....doing things a bit different this year...I normally put my decorations and tree up the day after Thanksgiving...well this year....I am starting really early...basically I have everything up besides the tree and needing to put lights on the garland on my stairs..I will take a few photos when I am done...okay so on to my challenge card for the bbtb...The sweet Carole was the host this week over at the BBTB and she assigned the BIRD from the STORYBOOK cartridge...cute cute cute...here is my take.....Next up is a BIG OH OWL SHAPED CARD...have you heard of the new challenge site called EMBELLISH..ooooooooo we....it is fabulous...I just love the whole look and concept of this site....The first challenge was to make a project using owls with 3 assigned colors...fun fun fun...If you are looking for some OWL inspiration....you will surely find loads of it here....Have a great wednesday night...

M'S SKETCH #3

Wooooooooooo I finally made it...Little Ms. M issued her 3rd challenge last week and The Cutting Cafe is sponsoring her....she is such a cutey and the sketch is awesome...I kind of switch the sketch to the side for my projects....I used the new HAPPY THANKSGIVING .99 cents special stamp from The Cutting Cafe..you can get more details about M's sketches here...

HOLIDAY PLANNER AND A POST IT NOTE BOX

Well I have finally decided to make something for me and my daughter..Most of the time all of the projects I make are for other people..........
First up is this cute little CHRISTMAS PLANNER...I was between putting hook rings on the sides or ribbon on the sides...but ended up doing heavy jute...and I love it...I used some really old Chatterbox paper for this book...This book comes for the new NOTEBOOK COVER over at the CUTTING CAFE...and the inside Christmas planner sheets come from the HOLIDAY PLANNER set over at the CUTTING CAFE...(by the way, when you purchase this HOLIDAY PLANNER, you get the NOTEBOOK COVER for free...until 11/14/09...
The NOTEBOOK COVER also comes with a piece to make a pocket for receipts....

QUESTION for you all, when you are making your own books, tell me what do you use to get the holes in all of the paper....I used my cropadile, but since the book has like folded edges, I really couldn't get a smooth hole punch...any suggestions....I had to take a few papers out and then punch them...if it was at the top, it would have been easier because I wouldn't have been going over a fold like on the side...YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN..(SMILE)Next up is a POST IT NOTE BOX that I made for my daughters new PINK/BLACK and LAVENDER room....I went all out with the rhinestones on the edges of the lid...I totally love this new template from The Cutting Cafe...I mean the possibilities are endless with this set...I might just make some Christmas POST IT NOTE sets later and give to some friends of mine..

JINGLE BELLS, PENGUINS........

Happy Monday evening everyone.....this week the fabulous Carla Peicheff issued the challenge cut for the BBTB....The cut we had to use is the PENGUIN from THE JOYS OF THE SEASON...I love this little girl....I added her to some old but fun Basic Grey paper and then added one of the Christmas stamps to the side from the Cutting Cafe called CHRISTMAS LONG PHRASES...it states LET IT SNOW...Be sure to check out the other ladies projects here...awesome stuff...Next up is two cards from a new set over at THE CUTTING CAFE....I am loving this BELL SHAPED CARD...didn't add a bunch of bells and whistles to this card..it's for my hubby......when I had designed the bell shaped card...I only had CHRISTMAS on the brain, but then I thought, wait a minute this bell can work for ANNIVERSARIES AND WEDDINGS...I got a bit carried away on the flower swirl on the card and couldn't take it off..oh well....I also added some liquid pearl to the rubon flower...probably can't see that....the CONGRATULATIONS on your WEDDING is from the HUGE WEDDING SET over at THE CUTTING CAFE and the A SPECIAL WISH FOR A SWEET COUPLE is from the HUGE ANNIVERSARY set...Have a great night..

I am on a roll and I am loving it....I just released 3 more sets over at The Cutting Cafe....and this card uses 1 new set and 1 older set...The bulb is from the new set called BULBS FOR THE TREE....check it out here. Normally I send out store bought Christmas Cards...because I just have way to many people to send cards out to....SO...if I keep on this roll, I might just be able to send out half and half...YIPEEEEEEEEEEE....Anyways, I used some old but oh so yummy My Minds Eye paper on this card and lots of LIQUID PEARLS...love that stuff..the CHRISTMAS WISHES sentiment is from a set called FANCY HOLIDAY SEASON...

Hello everyone.......Here is my take on one of the challenges from 365 CARDS...here is the sketch we had to base our card on....check out the other ladies projects...super awesome...AND...here is my take..I used some fun new IMAGINISCE Christmas paper along with some new BASIC GREY Christmas paper....the HAPPY HOLIDAYS background is from the Cutting Cafe as well as the SNOWFLAKE AND BUTTERFLY...the Christmas swirl on the left side is Basic Grey...Have a wonderful day and thanks for visiting me...HUGS

The challenge this week was to use the tag from the STRETCH YOUR IMAGINATION cartridge...Another of my favorite cartridges...I didn't do a huge project featuring this cut because I really needed to finish up this little Halloween project for a close relative...so I just made a little tag on the box...but hey, the challenge this week was not only to use the tag, but to use it in a FALL OR HALLOWEEN type project...so I think I'm good....I used the CUPCAKE box from THE CUTTING CAFE for this box....and the HAPPY HALLOWEEN circle and sentiment is from the HUGE HAPPY HALLOWEEN CIRCLE SET..............SO what kind of candy can ya win from me....well you can choose any 6 sets from THE CUTTING CAFE....yes that is ANY 6 sets..

CHRISTMAS ALREADY...A FEW PIC'S

Gosh Christmas cards already...what happened to Thanksgiving...I couldn't help myself in creating two little projects using some new releases over at The Cutting Cafe...This first card uses the set called CHRISTMAS LONG PHRASES....I love this set...and I am sure I will be using it a lot...great for adding a little border here and there on projects...The red paper is from Imaginisce's new Christmas line...My next card is from a new set called CHRISTMAS ALL AROUND....I had first intended on making this card really masculine, but it kind of got a little girlie but hubby will still like it and I am sure he will MEET ME UNDER THE MISTLETOE...Next is a few pictures of our last week trip to Apple Hill to buy some apples and apple pie, plus pick our own pumpkins:And last but not least is a few pictures from my daughters HUGE birthday sleep over..the picture with all of the girls is missing 4 girls..one couldn't spend the night and 3 others...well let's just say that you can't have too many girls in one house...there is bound to be DRAMA...so they left...anyhoo she had a ball....not sure if I would ever let her have another with 9 girls sleeping over...YIKESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...stay tune for pic's of her PINK, BLACK, PURPLE one...will get some pic's soon..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU......365 CARDS UPDATE

UPDATED POST...365 cards is having a challenge using half circles...so here is my take.....

We all know and love that HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU song.....this card features one of the many new Cutting Cafe sets that were just released...I released several Christmas ones, with many more to come...so I will be doing a few Christmas projects shortly...Anyways like I mentioned, we all know the HAPPY BIRTHDAY song..this printable stamp set called HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU..is a really cute little set...there are blank spaces for you to fill in the birthday persons name and their AGE....plus it comes with a cupcake to use as is or paper piece together.....

Next is just a fun little Christmas box that I made using the SQUARE BOX WITH DIVIDER template over at the Cutting Cafe...I so want to this year make a bunch of cute little boxes that all match my Christmas tree...anyHOO, the clear Christmas poem comes from a new online business that my sister Rene will hopefully be opening soon....She will have a bunch of poems on clear paper as well as other sentiments...I will keep ya posted on that....have a great day...hugs
